Da Chocolate Cake!



1 ½ cups flour (atta)
1 ¼ cups caster sugar (powdered sugar)
½ cup cocoa
1 cup milk
1 ½ teaspoons leveled soda bi carbonate (baking soda)
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
185 gms ghee/refined oil
1 pinch salt
1 table spoon white vinegar

Method

Warm the milk, add the vinegar and set aside.
Add all dry ingredients (flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, bicarb) and mix well.
Add the ghee/oil and half the spoilt milk.
Mix well till it is of a dough like consistency (about 2 mins)
Then add balance milk, lightly beaten eggs and vanilla essence.
Mix till well combined (batter should drop from spoon in folds)
Bake in a preheated oven till done.

PS. Thanks to my aunt who showed me how to make this cake when I was in school and today I can make it blindfolded and half asleep (but can't always then guarantee the results)
